DESERT ROMANCE

Do you dream of packing a suitcase, jumping in a convertible and driving with no plan? To get away from it all, cutting the chains that keep us in a cage, to live an unknown romance, to see wild sights and blood red sunsets?

There are so many beautifully wild places here in America, especially our vast deserts, some of my favorite placed to wander. I try to capture the beauty of the land and the innocence and goodness of it when I take a photo. A timeless look, one that when looked back on says “how simple, how free, how beautiful”

These photos are not for just today, for a few likes, for a few follows. These are a beautiful memory to remind us how beautiful and free and worry less we can be. To remind us to breathe, to take it slow, to cherish this moment and to think of it fondly with years to come.

I only shoot on a manual camera when I travel. One that makes you slow down, manually focus and perfect the shot. Nothing simple or fast about making beautiful photos. They are meant to cherish, the photo itself and the experience of taking a walk on this beautiful land and saving it as an alluring memory in our brains.
